Dashcam – Starts running as soon as the engine starts
A compact camera for behind the windshield that starts recording as soon as you start the car. The wide-angle lens captures the full width of the road, even in low light. When the car is stationary, it switches on when movement appears in the frame.
Why choose a dashcam?
What happens on the road unfolds too quickly to reconstruct afterward from memory. A camera that runs continuously captures what leads up to such a moment rather than only what happens afterward. The footage is stored on a microSD card that you can read on your computer.
- HD recording — license plates and road markings remain legible during playback.
- Wide-angle lens — captures more of the road than just what is directly ahead.
- Motion detection — switches on when something moves past the parked car.
- Loop recording — the oldest footage is overwritten, so the card does not fill up.
- Low-light recording — remains usable at dusk and on illuminated roads.
Every drive recorded without pressing a button.
Stick the mount in the center behind the mirror so the camera does not obstruct your view of the road. It is powered via the 12V socket; the internal battery only provides backup for short periods without power. Purchase a microSD card up to 64 GB separately and format it in the device the first time you use it.
