Diatomaceous Earth Bath Mat – A Hard Mat That Simply Soaks Up Water
This bath mat is not made of fabric but is a hard slab of diatomaceous earth, a porous mineral that absorbs moisture. Once you step off it, the spot where you stood is dry again within a few minutes. The underside has an anti-slip layer.
Why choose a diatomaceous earth bath mat?
A fabric bath mat remains damp after two showers, and you can smell it. Diatomaceous earth absorbs the water and allows it to evaporate from the top. This keeps the mat fresh without having to wash it every week.
- Diatomaceous earth — a porous mineral that draws water into the slab.
- Dries on its own — the wet spot disappears within a few minutes.
- Anti-slip underside — the slab stays in place on tiles and vinyl.
- No washing required — wiping it with a cloth is sufficient.
- Flat surface — lies flat on the floor and does not curl up at the edges.
No more damp cloth outside the shower, but a slab that dries itself.
Place the mat on a flat surface, as an uneven floor creates movement underneath the slab. If the mat absorbs less over time, lightly sand the surface with fine-grit sandpaper. Do not place heavy objects on it or drop it; the material is hard but fragile.
