Hanging Lamp – One Shade That Defines the Table
A hanging lamp with a lacquered iron shade, 35 cm in diameter and 21 cm high. The cord can be adjusted in length up to 1.5 metres when hardwired or 4.5 metres with a plug, allowing you to set the height above a table yourself. The fitting is E27; the bulb itself is purchased separately.
Why Choose an Iron Hanging Lamp?
A lamp above the dining table defines where the room ends and the seating area begins. A closed metal shade keeps the light directed downward instead of scattering it throughout the room. At 1.4 kg, it hangs steadily without requiring heavy-duty mounting.
- Lacquered iron shade — retains its shape and directs the light downward.
- 35 cm diameter — wide enough to define a tabletop, with a height of 21 cm.
- Adjustable suspension — 1.5 m hardwired or 4.5 m with a plug.
- E27 fitting — choose the bulb’s light colour and wattage yourself.
- Lightweight construction — 1.4 kg, so no heavy-duty mounting is required.
One point of light above the table, and the rest of the room feels calmer.
Hang the lamp approximately 70 to 80 cm above the tabletop so the light falls on the plates rather than into your eyes. Choose a bulb with a warm light colour when the shade hangs above a dining table, and a brighter one above a worktop. Dust the inside of the shade occasionally; that is where dust accumulates fastest.
