Candle Lamp - warm light from above, fragrance from below
A table lamp with a semicircular shade in which a halogen bulb hangs above an open round base. The bulb's heat melts a scented candle placed underneath, so the fragrance spreads without a burning wick. At first glance, it looks like a lamp and quietly does the rest.
Why choose this candle lamp?
A burning candle on the bedside table is one more thing to think about before going to sleep. Here, the heat is above the wax rather than inside it, producing fragrance along with a soft amber glow. The clean design is neutral enough to leave out all year round.
- Semicircular shade: directs light and heat straight down in a neat circle.
- Open space underneath: slide a jar or diffuser in and out without lifting the lamp.
- Lamp and heat source combined: ambient light and melted wax come from the same bulb.
- Sturdy construction: metal with glass, heavy enough to stay in place and easy to wipe clean.
- Small footprint: fits on a bedside table, in a corner of a desk, or next to the books on a shelf.
Warm light, a little fragrance, and nothing still burning at midnight.
It requires a halogen bulb of no more than 40 W; an LED provides light but does not melt wax. Place the candle in the center under the shade; otherwise, the melted wax will run to one side. Let the wax cool completely before moving the jar.
