Outdoor string lights - ambiance on the patio without harsh beams
A series of small LED bulbs on a flexible cable, designed for use along a fence, pergola, or balcony railing. The output stays below 60 lumens, so it provides ambiance rather than task lighting. There are three lengths, from covering one corner of a balcony to an entire patio.
Why choose outdoor string lights?
Overhead lighting makes an outdoor space look flat once the sun goes down. A low-hanging strand at eye level does the opposite: it defines the edges and keeps faces visible without causing glare. The bulbs stay cool and provide a soft glow all evening.
- Under 60 lumens: closer to candlelight than a floodlight.
- Flexible cable: winds around railings, branches, and parasol ribs without kinking.
- Choose your length: 6 m with 40 LEDs, 10 m with 80, or 12 m with 100 bulbs.
- UL, CE, and RoHS certifications: the wiring and materials meet common safety standards.
- Bulbs included: the strand arrives complete, so you do not need to buy anything separately.
Hang it once in spring, and the garden will look different every evening thereafter.
Hang the strand in a shallow zigzag instead of a straight line, so the bulbs sit at slightly different heights. Wrap the cable around the railing twice at each turn to keep the spacing even. Take it down after the season and wind it around a piece of cardboard so it does not get tangled.
