Picture light - keep your artwork evenly illuminated, even on a wall without an outlet
There is rarely a connection behind a painting, so usually you are left with whatever the ceiling light happens to do. This bar runs on a 4400 mAh battery, hangs on two screws, and charges via USB-C. Depending on the light intensity, it stays lit for 12 to 20 hours, which means weeks between charges with evening use.
Why choose a picture light?
With this type of lamp, everything comes down to the angle of the beam. If it is positioned incorrectly, the light reflects off the glass or the bottom of the canvas remains dark. The head swivels, so you set the beam once and the entire artwork is illuminated evenly afterward.
- Tiltable head: rotate the bar until the beam covers the entire frame and the glare is gone.
- Color temperature: warm for oil paintings and wooden frames, neutral for photos, cool for black-and-white works.
- Runtime per charge: 12 to 20 hours on a 4400 mAh battery, rechargeable with the included USB-C cable.
- Controls: tap the housing as you walk past or adjust the light from your seat.
- Mounting: screw bracket for plasterwork, wooden surfaces, battens, or a gallery panel.
This way, the frame is no longer a dark rectangle, but the thing you are looking at.
Choose 30 cm for a standard framed print and 40 cm for wide canvases and landscapes. Hang the bar slightly above the top edge of the frame and tilt it until the lower third is illuminated. The combination of aluminum, iron, and ABS looks just as good above a sofa as in a workspace or along a stairwell.
