Triangular shade sail – A patch of shade where the sun is strongest in the afternoon
A triangular sail that you stretch between three points to keep direct sunlight off your patio. The fabric is tightly woven and water-repellent, so showers run off instead of soaking through. There are four sizes, from a corner above the seating area to a sail covering the entire garden.
Why choose a shade sail?
A patio umbrella always seems to be in the wrong place as soon as the sun moves. A sail is fixed between three points and covers a much larger area, without a base getting in the way. You choose the angle at which it hangs and, with it, where the shade falls.
- Water-repellent fabric — rain runs off the sail and does not soak into the material.
- Reinforced D-rings — each corner is double-stitched and distributes the tension evenly.
- Three 1.4 m guy lines — enough flexibility to hang the sail at an angle for better drainage.
- Carabiners — hook it on and unclip it without tying knots.
- Foldable — folds up compactly for storage in the shed at the end of the season.

Stretch the sail between two wall hooks and a post or tree, making sure one point hangs lower than the others. Water will then run toward that point instead of pooling in the middle. Take it down when storms are forecast, as a tightly stretched sail catches a lot of wind.
