An open-weave shade cloth for a greenhouse, pergola, planting beds, or carport. The net takes the edge off the afternoon sun without turning the space underneath into a dark box, while air can still pass through freely. Sixteen sizes range from 2 x 2 meters to 4 x 8 meters.

Why choose a shade net?

A solid tarp traps warm air against everything underneath it. A net does the opposite: it intercepts the light and lets the heat rise straight through. For young plants, a greenhouse roof, or a hot patio, that makes all the difference.

• Metal rings all around: rings are placed in the corners and at intervals along the edges for even tension.
• Heat can escape upward: the open weave filters the light while preventing heat from lingering underneath.
• Edge that does not fray: the perimeter is folded over and taped, so nothing frays at the attachment points.
• From planting bed to carport: narrow 2-meter strips for a planting bed up to 4 x 8 meters for a carport or greenhouse roof.
• Lightweight: it folds down to almost nothing and you can put it in place by yourself.

Put cable ties or hooks through every other ring instead of only through the corners, so the cloth stays flat in the wind. Above a greenhouse, the net works best a few centimeters away from the glass, allowing warm air to escape through the gap. Shake it out and fold it dry when the season is over.
