Table lamp with circus strongman - a lamp with a story to tell
An old-fashioned circus strongman holds the lamp up here, with a striped shade above him. Each piece is hand-painted. During the day, it is a figurine; in the evening, a lamp.
Why a lamp with a strongman?
Most table lamps fade into the background. This one does not. It is still a practical lamp, though, because you can direct the light with the arm exactly where you need it.
- Hand-painted: small differences in the details mean no two lamps are exactly alike.
- Striped shade: spreads the light into a soft, even glow.
- Adjustable arm: direct the light onto your book, your desk, or the wall.
- Circus design: a nostalgic figurine that gets conversations started.
- Compact height: fits under a wall shelf and in a tight corner.
It adds character to a room without making you compromise on light.
On a desk, it provides focused light when you read or write. On a bedside table or in a bookcase, it becomes more of an ambient light for the evening. Since it is only 20 cm tall, you can almost always find a place for it.
