Lacquered spool lamp – a deep gloss you can see across the room
This lamp is all about the surface. Ten coats of lacquer give the twisted spool shape a mirror-like sheen that catches the light, even when the lamp is switched off. Inside is a rechargeable LED, so it works without a cord.
What this lacquered lamp does well
Many cordless lamps are made of matte plastic or bare metal. This one is built up layer by layer, giving the color depth and leaving the surface smooth to the touch.
- Ten coats of lacquer: a thick, glossy layer that protects the lamp and gives it a polished look.
- Spool silhouette: the stacked spool shape adds rhythm to a shelf or desk.
- Touch control: the button on top switches between three brightness levels and off.
- Wireless: once charged, you can place it wherever there is no power outlet nearby.
Even when switched off, it works well as decoration.
The lamp is 30 cm high, 11 cm wide at the base and 16 cm wide at the top. A full charge takes about eight hours via the USB-C port in the base. Wipe the lacquer with a soft, dry cloth to preserve its shine.
