Fly gun – salt gun with laser sight for accurately shooting flies

Fly gun – aim with the laser and hit that fly on the kitchen counter

This fly gun fires a small load of salt pellets and has a laser sight that shows exactly where you're aiming. Handy when a fly keeps buzzing around in the kitchen, on the veranda, or by the barbecue. No sprays or poison needed.

Why choose this fly gun?

The difference between this and a fly swatter is the distance. You don't have to stand right next to the fly: the laser dot shows your target, and the salt does the rest. It works indoors and outdoors.

• Laser sight – a red dot on your target, so you know where the salt pellets will land
• Range of up to 10 meters – aim from the table at the fly by the window
• Safety lock – a safety catch prevents accidental firing
• Sturdy plastic housing – reinforced material that can take a knock
• Compact and lightweight – comfortable to hold and fits in a kitchen drawer

Aim, pull the trigger, and see if you hit it: it's a bit like a fairground shooting gallery, but in your own kitchen.

Fill the reservoir with ordinary table salt and cock the gun before each shot. Salt leaves little residue, but it's best not to aim at glass, screens, people, or animals. Sweep up the pellets afterward and keep the gun out of children's reach.
