Nativity Scene as Wall Décor - a Tall Star with Lights Above Mary, Joseph, and the Child
This freestanding wall decoration features a layered Star of Bethlehem at the top and the Holy Family at the bottom, with warm points of light in between. It fills a narrow section of wall during the Christmas season without taking up space on a table or mantel.
Why this wall decoration?
It tells the Christmas story in one tall composition. First, the star catches your eye, then the light leads downward to the stable. During the day, you see the shapes and greenery; in the evening, the lights take over.
- Layered star: a relief Star of Bethlehem forms the top.
- Falling light: warm points of light run downward like a trail.
- Holy Family: Mary, Joseph, and the baby Jesus as a silhouette.
- Seasonal greenery: fir branches, berries, pinecones, and a brass-colored bow.
- Hanging stars: smaller stars fill the space around the scene.
A traditional Christmas scene, kept simple and understated.
The tall format fits on the wall in the hallway, beside the stairs, or next to the Christmas tree. It can also be placed in a covered porch protected from the rain. Bring it out every December as a regular part of your Christmas decorations.
