Sand lamp with a landscape that takes shape anew each time
The round disc contains liquid, coloured sand and air bubbles. The sand slowly sinks past the bubbles, continually forming a different dune landscape. Around it is a ring of light that illuminates the disc from within.
Why choose this sand lamp?
The scene never stands still and never repeats itself. You choose the light colour and intensity, so the lamp adapts to the moment. The disc can be replaced separately.
- Sand that keeps shifting: air chambers in the disc slow the fall, allowing the sand to descend gradually.
- Ring of light: the inner ring illuminates the disc evenly, without bright spots.
- White in three shades: warm, natural and cool white, selectable with the remote control.
- Remove one disc, add another: if you want a different coloured landscape, simply replace the centre disc.
- Energy-efficient light source: LED keeps energy consumption low, even when the lamp is on all evening.
That makes it just as much a lamp as an object to look at.
The lamp measures 28 centimetres in diameter and is 31 centimetres high, so it needs some space on a cabinet or side table. The housing combines aluminium with glass, making it feel sturdy and easy to keep clean. You can dim it from the sofa using the included remote control.
